Śrī Nityānanda Prabhu is the eternal companion of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu and is revered as the embodiment of divine mercy and compassion.
Together with Śrī Gaurāṅga, He travelled from place to place encouraging people to chant the holy names of Krishna and share the joy of devotional life.
Nityānanda Prabhu is especially celebrated for His extraordinary compassion. He approached everyone with kindness and gave people the opportunity to take shelter of the holy names, regardless of their circumstances or background.
His mood teaches us that spiritual life is not about judging others, but about extending mercy, encouraging devotion and helping others come closer to Krishna.
